Loot Crate, the company that sends out a monthly shipment of geek-themed goodies to subscribers all over the world has just announced a new monthly subscription catering to gamers called Loot Gaming. The company made the announcement at a live panel at PAX South.
The new subscription is designed for gaming enthusiasts and, much like the original Loot Crate, comes in a monthly mystery box filled with collectibles, apparel, accessories and other items from video games.
The box is priced at $25 a month, and includes a curated selection of stuff from well-known AAA video game brands, indie studios, retro, and new releases. Each crate is set to offer 4-6 premium items exclusively manufactured for Loot Crate. Additionally, the crate comes with a game manual style booklet and a collector’s Loot Gaming pin. Each box includes items that would retail for $60.
Loot Crate will also on occasion include digital items such as DLC, downloadable games and exclusives unavailable anywhere else.
“We know that our audience loves video games, which is exactly why we wanted to offer an experience that extends beyond the joystick, keyboard or controller. Loot Gaming will give people the chance to own a piece of those gaming universes and join an active community of fans who love those same great franchises,” said Matthew Arevalo, co-founder of Loot Crate. “We’re working alongside developers and publishers to create exclusive products for Loot Gaming crates, and they are just as excited as we are to bring these universes and characters into the real world.”
Loot Crate also operates Loot Pets, Loot Anime and Level Up.
