Bless Pornhub for publishing their traffic reports. In their latest blog post, they noted that site users have been searching for Minecraft on the porn site a lot more lately.
“Since January 2014, searches for Minecraft have increased a total of 326%,” the company reports. Apparently, 108% of its growth happened only last year. Makes sense, given the latest Telltale Games release.
Pornhub notes that searches tend to be tied to popular news stories and in 2015, Minecraft made headlines after millions of people accidentally downloaded a fake malware version of the game, resulting in more traffic on the site. Another event that may have triggered an increase was the E3 Expo, where a new version of Minecraft debuted.
We’re just glad the site is back on its feet after Fallout 4 stole its audience away.
