Good news, but only if you're a Norwegian teenager: a high school in Norway is offering a new class that covers esports. Garnes Vidaregaande Skule is the first school to have a program like this, which is just further evidence that videogames are now a legitimate art form to be studied and taken seriously.
The announcement feels appropriate since ESPN just announced its new esports division and Activision recently invested money into Major League Gaming and bolstering its own esports division.
GVS is even polling students to determine which games will be studied as part of the course. The school will provide high-end gaming PCs to ensure that students get the proper esports experience.
