New Quantum Break Cinematic Trailer Revealed At The Game Awards

December 3, 2015 by Carlos Chism

More story beats are shown in the new trailer.

X-Men actor and Quantum Break star, Shawn Ashmore, took to the stage at The Game Awards to show off more gameplay from Remedy Entertainment’s upcoming title. The video showed off more of the game’s story beats, along with some gameplay.

Quantum Break was originally announced during the Xbox One reveal event in May of 2013. It is being developed by Remedy Entertainment, the same studio behind the first two Max Payne games and Alan Wake. The game’s protagonist, Jack Joyce, wields time manipulation powers, making everything freeze except himself. The rest of the gameplay, from what we’ve seen so far, seems typical for third person action adventure game, and includes 3D puzzles. The game will also feature digital TV episodes in between gameplay segments that intertwine with the game depending on the player’s choices.

Quantum Break is expected to release on April 5, 2016, exclusively for Xbox One.

Other big announcements from The Game Awards include a new Uncharted 4 character reveal and a new Telltale Batman game.
