For those of you who have Japanese friends, you can feel free to let them know that Bethesda has arranged for a simultaneous launch in Japan as the rest of the world. This is likely only possible because Bethesda and Zenimax went out of their way to set up shop in Japan, and because it’s being published via Steam, which makes coordinating easier.
Looking for things to do while waiting for the launch? Check out our recommendations here. You can also prepare by studying the first things you should do once you open Fallout 4 here, and choose a name from the list of names Codsworth can say here.
