Bloodstained Cross-Play Support Announced, New Character Revealed

August 4, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

A new character for Bloodstained has been revealed.

Koji Igarashi's upcoming game, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, is set to support cross-play between the Xbox One and Windows 10.

The producer took to the stage at Microsoft's Gamescom 2015 conference to announce that the upcoming game will be releasing on both the Xbox One and Windows 10, and that it will support cross-play between the two platforms.

In addition to the announcement for cross-play support, Igarashi also showed off a new, unnamed demon hunter character. He appears to wield two swords and uses ofuda spells. The character is pictured above.

Igarashi did not announce exactly when the game will released, but it's also expected to come out on the PS4, PS Vita and Wii U. The game was successfully Kickstarted earlier this year with nearly 60,000 backers.
