Spider: Rite of the Shrouded Moon is a very interesting looking game in development for PC, PS4, PS Vita, iOS, and Android.
You actually play as a spider in the environmental puzzler but the most exciting aspect is the fact that the game revolves around real world weather data and your time zone.
Developer Tiger Style says that if you play the game during the afternoon and it's sunny, that will be reflected in-game. Similarly, play when it's raining at night and those conditions will be matched in the game. To use these features, you will need to give the game permission to access location data.
The game takes place in an abandoned estate and you will need to use the walls and ceilings to navigate the environment and create webs and yes, there are a variety of insects in the game for you to catch.
This is where the time and weather aspect comes into it. Lightning bugs, moths, and crickets appear at night, hornets comes out in clear weather, and mosquitoes and inchworms will put in an appearance when it's raining.
