Stress Level Zero has mentioned plans to support PSVR2 in the coming future. The studio has mentioned their plan to support PSVR2 back in March 2021. Brandon Laatsch mentioned that there was a 90% chance that the studio will support next-generation VR with the new controls.
Although the studio promised more news in 2021, there wasnt any significant update for the game. With many players hoping to learn more about the project, the director has mentioned there will be more to the game this year.
That being said, Laatsch indicated that one of the studio’s upcoming projects would release on “Quest 2 and PC VR.” There is a “decent chance” of the game releasing on PSVR 2 according to him. Along with many unspoken projects, the developers of Stress Level Zero are working on a few more games that are in development that might feature on the next-gen console.
With Sony announcing the specifications of PSVR2 at CES this year., the game is said to have multiple release avenues for future projects. The increase in power of the PS5 with the upgraded specs of PSVR2 might give a new life to the game on the new platform.
The new PSVR 2 will feature a 4K HDR display and a 110-degree view of field. Foveated rendering might just be a part of the project. Sense controllers along with the in-headset vibration feedback and eye tracking will provide a new definition to the game.
A post by Twitter user, @PGtheVRguy received a comment by Laatsch stating there is a high probability of the game appearing on PSVR2.
With the community hoping for more from the game, there is a high chance that the game develops into something more than a PSVR title.
