We have a new batch of details for you for Star Wars Battlefront 3, with perhaps a hint of a possible KOTOR game coming down the line.
Bioware head Aaryn Flynn teased a new KOTOR game via Twitter. Bioware, of course, made the first two KOTOR games, acclaimed as some of the best games ever made. Aaryn himself was involved in both games. Bioware expressed eagerness to make a new KOTOR, and as LucasFilm promised, it will be part of the new canon.
The upcoming Battlefront has confirmed separate factions, with the Tusken Raiders and Ewoks peeking out of the latest previews. It remains to be seen what level of interactivity they will have in the game.
DICE has said there will be no actual star wars (outer space) in Battlefront, but those spaceships, even including the Star Destroyers, will be playable somehow. Rather than have them playable around the clouds, they will be close to the tips of the atmosphere, and targets in some missions. It won’t be accurate to the movies, but perhaps DICE has something interesting planned here.
Battlefront will have no ADS. Expect to play this much like Halo or the first Battlefront, where you shoot from the hip. You will have scopes to work with.
Niklas Fegraeus teased a new Battlefront mode currently in the works on Twitter. All he would say is that it was on Endor and a thermal detonator was involved. What do you think this could possibly be?
What do you make of this mysterious game mode? How do you like the other teasers? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
Star Wars Battlefront 3 will be released on November 17 for Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
