Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be completely playable by stealth, including the game's boss fights. In fact, it will be possible to "ghost" the entire game without being seen.
Asked on Twitter whether such a feat would be possible, executive game director Jean-Francois Dugas confirmed, "As always and even on boss side, finally!"
Developer Eidos Montreal was criticised for the boss fights in 2011's Deus Ex: Human Revolution, which offered a very limited range of combat-specific options for tackling bosses. The studio later confirmed that development of the game's boss fights had been outsourced to another developer.
Dugas has also confirmed that Mankind Divided will feature hardcore stealth mode Give Me Deus Ex and the developer is exploring options for a New Game Plus mode.
Mankind Divided takes place in 2029, two years after the events of Human Revolution and sees protagonist Adam Jensen join Interpol to track down augmented terrorists around the globe.
Revealed last week, you can check out the game's announcement trailer here. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is in development for PC, PS4, and Xbox One but a release date has not yet been revealed.
