A fan has outlined a theory that Fallout 4 gameplay may be revealed at E3, with the announcement coming in an earlier event, such as PAX East.
Our source states that developers Bethesda would want to get the announcement out of the way before E3 so that it doesn’t take attention away from other titles, such as, say, a new Doom game.
To bolster this theory, our source also points out that Bethesda’s upcoming E3 conference will be open to the public. While there may be a considerable number of fans who will come in expecting Fallout even if there’s no guarantee, if Bethesda does announce the game beforehand, the chances that they sell out tickets will be even higher. They’re actually most likely to guarantee selling out the venue if they do so.
Of course, this theory rules out the possibility that Bethesda would announce other projects, if they had any, before Fallout, to get them out of the way for a grand unveiling.
