Gamers around the globe are raring and excited to play Kingdom Hearts 3. That said, the game doesn’t come out until sometime in 2016, so there’s still a wide expanse of time we’ve got to traverse until the title’s debut on store shelves.
A new interview, conducted by Nexxt Up, reveals a lot of information about the series as a whole. Square Enix co-director Yai Tasue discusses a number of additions to the franchise.
Apparently, in Birth by Sleep’s final mix, there will be an entirely new, “dark” level after you complete the game. You get to play as Aqua, and must face off with a “predatorial” adversary at the end of the level. In Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, there will be a new boss, as well.
All of this development has apparently stretched Square Enix’s programming team thin, as Yai announced that Kingdom Hearts 3’s creation has been slowed.
