Rare, developer of games such as the illustrious Banjo Kazooie, hasn't been doing too much lately. Apparently, the studio plans to make up for lost time in 2015.
The studio's composer, Robin Beanland, recently published a tweet that has some pretty interesting implications for the games industry. It reads:
@Ritsu_Is_Cute This is a HUGE year for Rare…and these notes 🙂
The tweet was accompanied by this picture:
Now, VG247 writes that:;
The notes in question, are four A notes in 4/4 time. The second line shows one D note, both are on the right clef and the composition is in C, F and G sharp.
Sounds like the intro to Banjo Kazooie to me.
I'm no music specialist myself, but the Banjo Kazooie theme is certainly one of the more noticeable tracks in gaming's history. It, along with Banjo Kazooie's great story and gameplay, captured the hearts of gamers around the globe. It'd be very cool if a new Kazooie game was planned; I'd even be excited for an HD remake!
