Rocksteady Studios has created what is arguably the penultimate series of Batman games. There have been other attempts at creating a solid video game adapation for the caped crusader, but nobody besides Rocksteady has been able to come up with a winning formula. That said, all the games ever really needed to succeed was a developer who cared and a solid budget to go along with the project(s). There are far too many licensed games that head straight to the bargain bin, and while publishers are starting to take note, it'd be nice to see obviously strong content succeed. To this day, I still remember 2008's Iron Man video game. It was so bad, it won multiple Worst Game of the Year awards. Never again, I say. Never again.
If, for some reason, you've still not gotten your hands on any of the Arkham games, the boys and girls over at Bundle Stars have got you covered. They're offering all of the currently released Batman: Arkham titles for the low price of $9.99. At most game retailers, you'd still have to pay that for a new copy of the first game in the series, Batman: Arkham Asylum. This deal will run over the next four days, and is only available to PC users via Steam. If you haven't made a Steam account already, they're completely free and you'll often find some really great deals by simply logging in.
Batman: Arkham Knight releases for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC on June 2, 2015.
