Kalypso has announced the first expansion for Tropico 5, WaterBorne, presumably a Bloodborne spin-off (it's not).
The expansion includes a while new campaign and story spanning six missions and introduces nine new offshore buildings and marine vehicles, as well as four new island maps which can also be used for sandbox games. In addition, WaterBorne comes with four new music tracks, two new avatar costumes, and six new avatar accessories.
There are also new sandbox events and objectives which relate to the water setting.
In WaterBorne, El Presidente will be able to "Organize and coordinate transport to production buildings like the Oyster and Kelp farms, construct tidal power plants as an eco-friendly alternative to nuclear power and build luxurious floating apartments. Launch military submarines to bolster your naval forces – or create an exotic bathysphere attraction to compliment your bustling tourist paradise."
WaterBorne launches on December 17th on Steam for $19.99.
