The Medium is the latest video game title out from the development studio Bloober Team. While Xbox Series X/S owners were able to dive into this game on consoles, it was missing for PlayStation 5. That changes next month as the game has been confirmed to hit the PlayStation 5 in September of 2021. With that said, a rumor started to spiral out of control recently which suggested The Medium would be launching on the PlayStation 5 as a PlayStation Plus video game title.
That rumored leak circulating around is false. The leak has been debunked so don’t get excited about seeing The Medium attached to September’s PlayStation Plus games with the fake image circulating online. Fans have been getting amped about the upcoming PS Plus video games as well. In the leak surfacing online not only would PlayStation 5 owners would have been receiving The Medium, but there was some notable PlayStation 4 games as well. Players were expecting Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 & 2 along with Haven.
Again, this leak is fake as the official Bloober Team Twitter account debunked the whole thing. We won’t be seeing The Medium for September 2021 PlayStation Plus video games. Likewise, we are waiting for the official list of games to be unveiled by Sony. This might be a bit of a bummer for some fans. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t play this game next month. As mentioned, this game is coming on September 3, 2021, for the PlayStation 5.
For those who are unaware, The Medium is a psychological horror game. Players take up the role of a young medium female that is on a journey to help lost souls move on. However, her latest journey is full of twists and turns, but we won’t spoil anything here. If you would like some more insight to the game then we suggest checking out our official Before You Buy video game coverage in the video embedded above. Here you’ll get our overall impressions of the title along with some gameplay footage.
