Ubisoft's Wii U launch title ZombiU may be getting a follow-up, after Jeuxvideo spotted listings for ZombiU 2 on the French Amazon site.
While the listings have been removed, they were able to get some screengrabs first. Interestingly, rather than a vague December 2015 date as would be usual for games which have not been announced or dated yet, Amazon put the launch date as October 17th, 2015. The listing also mentioned Bandai Namco as the game's publisher, which seems quite odd given that the original was both developed and published by Ubisoft.
It's possible Bandai Namco acquired the rights to the IP, which seems unlikely, or that they're the distributor for the region but given that Ubisoft is a French company that seems unlikely. If Ubisoft is actually developing the game it seems quite remarkable given the dreadful sales of Watch Dogs on the console, which CEO Yves Guillemot said earlier this would likely be the last mature Ubisoft game for Wii U.
The listing states that the game will take place in New York, while the original was set in London.
There's every chance the listing is fake, but Amazon's European sites have a fairly decent track record when it comes to these things.
