Battlefield 4 is filled with Easter eggs, some of them even shifting the gameplay of the title. This is really cool, as it turns these Easter eggs into interactive parts of the game world, rather than just a nifty thing that you might happen upon. At any rate, sometimes these little packages can be hard to find, especially in video games. Developers will do everything they can to hide Easter eggs from the player. Sometimes, these eggs can keep a game relevant, as when new ones are found, everyone starts talking about your game again.
That's why we're going to talk about a couple of the Easter eggs from Battlefield 4. Youtuber Westie has taken players through a few of the maps in Battlefield 4, explaining how to access a couple of the more unique Easter eggs in the title's Final Stand downlodable content package.
The 'Icicle Knife'
This Easter egg comes in the form of a usable knife that you can find in the map 'Whiteout.' In this map, a number of icicles have formed on various buildings around the map's central flag. You can break these icicles off and use them as your melee weapon until dying. They respawn around every 90 seconds and multiple players can use these as melee weapons at the same time.
The 'Mini Walker'
The next Easter egg in this DLC package comes in the form of a non-interactive snow sculpture in the far reaches of the map 'Hammerhead.' To access this, you'll first want to spawn on the U.S. side of the deployment, making your way all the way across the map's frozen lake. Your end goal is to make it to the far, left corner of the map. After cresting the first hill off of the lake, you'll come across a mini Godzilla-esque looking creature about to destroy a small town, all made out of snow.
