Far Cry 4 is now available for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One but with so many major titles coming out this week, you can be forgiven for thinking you may not have time to play everything. Thankfully, it's possible to finish Far Cry 4 in less than 15 minutes.
Spoilers below, if you'd rather not read on, you can check out yesterday's Season Pass trailer instead.
Following the initial cutscene, Kyrat dictator Pagan Min brings protagonist Ajay Ghale to dinner and tells him to wait, at which point control of the game is handed over to you. Most players just get up and leave, beginning the game in earnest, but there's an alternative ending which can be unlocked if you actually do wait for Min to come back.
Spend 12 or 13 minutes waiting, and Min will thank you for your patience. Next thing you know, you're on a helicopter which lands beside a shrine. Min explains why he's really not so bad, and then leads you to the shrine. As requested, Ghale gets to place his mother's ashes next to the ashes of her daughter, who it transpires is actually Min's child. Just step outside the shrine again, walk back to the helicopter and Min voices his delight that "we'll finally get to shoot some fucking guns." Game over.
You can watch a video of this in action below and I'd certainly be willing to pay for a DLC to continue this particular story.
