Borderlands: The-Sequel came out just a few days ago and is currently smashing the Steam best-sellers list. While some criticized the game for sticking to the same formula, all that comes to mind is the old adage: "If it's not broken, why fix it?" I realize there's always room for improvement, but maybe we can look at The Pre-Sequel as a softer interlude in between numbered entries to the series. The game delivers the same Borderlands experience that we have all come to know and love, so we should simply appreciate the title for what it is, rather than what it isn't.
I like to think that, as a spectrum, we as gamers are somewhat creative. I know for certain that Youtube personality Pogo is, as his mash-ups and remixes of video game dialogue and music are absolutely entrancing. In his most recent video, Pogo took to Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and hashed out a few sick beats with Claptrap the robot. While we're not sure the background music comes from the game in particular, we're no less mesmerized by the catchy tune and zingy dialogue choices that Pogo has made. While he has created many a video, we think this stands among his best projects.
Take a look at the video below and let us know if you found the Borderlands based remix as awesome as we did! You may also want to check out the Hearthstone card music video, which seemed to really send the craze of video game music mash-ups into the veritable stratosphere.
