No less than Bethesda has been responsible for the most recent trickle in teasers and spoilers for Fallout 4.
The first such teaser involves a Bethesda employee answering fan questions. In specific, one fan asked for a beta download code. While the request itself was rebuffed, they were told to keep their ears to the ground, implying that information would be coming up soon.
The other involves discussion of Erik Todd Dellums, AKA the voice actor for Three Dog. In an interview Erik talked about the nature of the hype for Fallout 4.
To put it simply, Bethesda’s unseen hand has been directing the teasers, including what Erik tweets and reveals. Having said that, they definitely did not expect the teasers to receive the virulent, passionate reaction that it has.
Bethesda’s OK to Erik included confirming that his character, Three Dog, would be returning to the game in one form or another. He continues to receive hints from Bethesda, but he is following their instructions on how much to reveal moving forward.
October 23, aka the date of the Great War, continues to loom for Fallout fans. Anticipation is high that if there are any Fallout 4 announcements on the way, that they will be made on this day.
Knowing all this, do you think Bethesda is building up for a big announcement this October 23? Or is this just convenient speculation, and they actually have to delay any such announcements just a little longer? Share your thoughts with us in the comments. Image is from Fallout 3.
