Super Smash Bros 4 3DS Final Smash Guide

This guide includes Final Smashes for still-unannounced characters.

This is a guide for all the Final Smash attacks for all the characters in Super Smash Bros for 3DS. This guide indicates the character, the name of the Final Smash, and gives a little description.

Please note that this guide spoils all the previously unrevealed playable characters in the game.

·         Mario

Mario Finale

Mario releases a large blast of fire that splits into two streams, one going up and one going down.

·         Luigi

Poltergust 5000

Luigi brings out the Poltergust 5000 from Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon. He can suck anything in any direction he points the vacuum, but he cannot move. When he sucks everyone in, or after a short period of time, everything the Poltergust sucked flies across the air.

·         Princess Peach

Peach Blossom

The game pauses as two drawings of Peach border the screen and she starts dancing. All enemies immediately take damage, while grounded enemies fall asleep. Peach can choose to maximize damage on sleeping enemies, or grab the peaches that appear around her to restore health.

·         Bowser

Giga Bowser

Bowser turns into a larger version of himself, increasing attack power, for 10 seconds.

·         Yoshi

Super Dragon

Yoshi gains wings and starts flying for 20 seconds. He can shoot fireballs and hurt enemies by just touching them.

·         Rosalina & Luma

Power Star

A Power Star from Super Mario Galaxy appears, shooting smaller stars around it to deal damage. It fills out a large part of the screen and explodes to end the Smash.

·         Bowser Jr

Shadow Mario

Bowser turns into Shadow Mario, the disguise he used as the main antagonist in Super Mario Sunshine. He promptly draws a giant X on the screen with the Magic Paintbrush, and hurts everyone caught within the X.

·         Wario

Wario-Man

Wario turns into his quasiheroic alter ego that first appeared in WarioWare Twisted for 18 seconds. While in this form, he does more damage and is virtually invincible.

·         Mr Game & Watch

Octopus

Mr Game & Watch turns into the Octopus, with the same LCD crystal display aesthetics. It float crawls freely, but slowly, and strikes enemies with its body and tendrils. Octopus can still fall off the stage.

·         Donkey Kong

Konga Beat

DK brings out his bongo drums to play the DK Island Swing theme. DK is invincible, but immobile, as he strikes enemies within his radius. The player can press the face buttons to the beat for more powerful attacks with a wider radius.

·         Diddy Kong

Rocketbarrel Barrage

Diddy brings out his Peanut Popguns along with the Rocketbarrel to start flying around the screen and shooting enemies for 28 % damage. The Rocketbarrel causes more knockback and 18 % damage, but it lowers you slowly.

·         Link

Triforce Slash

As the Triforce logo on Link’s hand starts glowing, a beam of light comes out to stun enemies in front of him. Link then dashes towards the opponent and strikes him or her, forming the outline of the Triforce with his rapid strikes.

·         Princess Zelda

Light Arrow

Zelda brings out her bow, finds a target in front of her, and shoots the Light Arrow, almost guaranteeing enemies in the way fly off the stage.

·         Sheik

Light Arrow

Zelda brings out her bow, finds a target in front of her, and shoots the Light Arrow, almost guaranteeing enemies in the way fly off the stage.

·         Ganondorf

Beast Ganon

Ganondorf turns into a gigantic, beastly, boar version of himself. He briefly pauses to brace himself, before rushing towards the stage to one hit KO enemies in the way.

·         Toon Link

Light Arrow

Zelda brings out her bow, finds a target in front of her, and shoots the Light Arrow, almost guaranteeing enemies in the way fly off the stage.

·         Samus

Zero Laser

Samus charges her arm cannon to fire a large energy beam, that can be directed to cover a large part of the stage.

·         Zero Suit Samus

Gunship

Samus jumps into her Gunship to point and fire ship lasers at her opponents.

·         Pit

Pit equips the Three Sacred Treasures for three consecutive attacks. First, he shoots red colored and green colored arrows towards opponents, before a hail of arrows fall down on the entire stage.

·         Rosalina

Black Hole Laser

Rosalina creates a black hole that stays in place and sucks enemies around it. She then summons a laser to strike at the enemies she captured.

·         Marth

Critical Hit

Marth braces himself briefly before launching a powerful strike against enemies facing him. This attack deals 60 % damage, as well as enough knockback to guarantee enemies fly off the stage. In turn, the moves slow windup makes it easy to avoid if you’re alert.

·         Ike

Great Aether

Ike strikes anyone in front of him, sending him or her to the air. He jumps towards him or her, and proceeds to strike seven times. The attack is capped by an explosion that awaits the opponent on the ground, which knocks back anyone in the crossfire.

·         Robin

Pair-Up

Chrom briefly teleports to assist Robin. As Robin strikes the opponent using his or her tomes, Chrom strikes the opponent with his Falchion.

·         Kirby

Ultra Sword

Originally a weapon Kirby can get from swallowing a Super Blade Knight in Kirby’s Return to Dream Land. Kirby slashes an opponent several times with it and ends the Smash with one powerful strike.

·         King Dedede

Dede-Burst

Dedede inhales to grab enemies into his vortex. He then strikes them several times with his hammer before bombing them.

·         Meta Knight

Galaxia Darkness

MK swings his cape to grabe enemies. If he catches someone, he proceeds to slash them for high damage.

·         Little Mac

Giga Mac

After filling out a bar, the same bar that appears in the Wii version of Punch-Out!, Little Mac briefly turns into a larger version of himself with higher attack power.

·         Fox McCloud

Landmaster

Fox summons and climbs into the Landmaster, a giant tank. He briefly gets to stomp, shoot rounds, and push enemies around the stage.

·         Falco

Landmaster

Falco summons and climbs into the Landmaster, a giant tank. He briefly gets to stomp, shoot rounds, and push enemies around the stage.

·         Pikachu

Volt Tackle

Pikachu becomes a giant ball of electricity that can freely move around the stage.

·         Charizard

Mega Charizard X

Charizard turns into the Mega Evolution version of himself from Pokemon X. While in this form, he has higher attack power.

·         Lucario

Mega Lucario

Lucario turns into the Mega Evolution version of himself. While in this form, he has higher attack power.

·         Jigglypuff

Puff Up

Jigglypuff inflates itself to occupy the better part of the stage. It shouts to push enemies away, and then slowly deflates, but continues to cause damage to enemies who make contact.

·         Greninja

Secret Ninja Attack

Greninja throws a mat towards an opponent and uses it to launch her in the air. Greninja then follows his opponent to strike it mid air, before a final strike to KO the opponent off screen.

·         Duck Hunt

Gunfight

The dog and duck summon characters from Wild Gunman and Hogan’s Alley, while opponents are caught in the crossfire. The dog giggles like it does in Duck Hunt at the end of the Smash.

·         R.O.B.

R.O.B. has a still-unnamed Final Smash that replaces the Diffusion Beam. R.O.B. briefly turns backwards and transforms to shoot a large laser attack towards its opponent. One final push throws opponents in the air.

·         Ness

PK Starstorm

Ness summons a rain of stars from the sky to strike the stage.

·         Captain Falcon

Blue Falcon

Captain Falcon summons his famous racing vehicle to run enemies over.

·         Villager

Dream Home

Villager grabs an opponent, and then summons Tom Nook, along with his nephews Timmy and Tommy Nook, to quickly build a house around him or her. When the house is done, it explodes, launching the opponent into the air.

·         Olimar/Alph

End of Day

Olimar or Alph summons and takes off in his spaceship. His opponents get hurt in the spaceship’s vicinity, and Red Bulborbs appear to strike any characters left in its wake.

·         Wii Fit Trainer

Wii Fit

The trainer sends out silhouettes of herself or himself in primary colors. These silhouettes use different exercise poses and strike any opponent in front of her or him.

·         Dr. Mario

Dr Finale

The doctor throws out giant duo-colored Megavitamins that strike enemies in front of him.

·         Dark Pit

Dark Pit Staff

Dark Pit brings out his staff to shoot a powerful beam that strikes enemies in front of him.

·         Lucina

Critical Hit

Lucina braces herself briefly before launching a powerful strike against enemies facing her. This attack deals 60 % damage, as well as enough knockback to guarantee enemies fly off the stage. In turn, the moves slow windup makes it easy to avoid if you’re alert.

·         Shulk

Chain Attack

Shulk summons Dunban and Riki for a triple team attack on an opponent, ending with Shulk using his Monado for a finishing blow on him or her.

·         Pac-Man

Super Pac-Man

Pac-Man turns into a giant 8-bit version of himself, after eating a pellet. He can chomp opponents around him, but can only move in four cardinal directions as if he is in a maze.

·         Mega Man

Mega Man Legends

Mega Man traps opponents with the Black Hole Bomb, and summons Mega Man X, Geo Stelar and Omega-Xis, Volnutt, and MegaMan.EXE for one giant combined Mega Buster attack.

·         Sonic

Super Sonic

Sonic uses all 7 Chaos Emeralds to transform into Super Sonic. In this form, he can dart around the stage quickly, and hurt enemies around him by simply making contact.

·         Mii Brawler

Ultimate Final Rush

The Brawler uppercuts his or her opponent, and then catches them midair with another flurry of strikes, before a final strike downward with enlargened fists.

·         Mii Swordfighter

Final Edge

The Swordfighter throws out a series of arc-shaped projectiles that damage opponents.

·         Mii Fighter Gunner

Full Blast

The Gunner summons two floating laser cannons, similar to Gradius’ options, that work with his or her arm cannon to shoot three separate laser shots at the target.
