Evil sounds like celebrity voice acting. Bethesda has announced the voice acting cast for its upcoming survival-horror game from Shinji Mikami, The Evil Within.
Helming the game’s voice acting cast is Anson Mount, one of the stars of AMC’s Hell on Wheels, who will be playing the role of the game’s lead character Sebastian Castellanos.
Jennifer Carpenter, best known for her role in Dexter, will be voicing Sebastian’s rookie partner Juli Kidman. In addition to being a part of the main story, Juli’s character will also get her own starring role in an upcoming two-part DLC, which was announced by Bethesda earlier this month.
No cast is complete without the casting of the game’s primary antagonist, Ruvik, who will be played by Jackie Earle Haley, best known for his roles as the new Freddie Krueger and Rorschach in the comic book film Watchmen. Expect his voice to haunt your dreams.
The Evil Within be out on October 14 in North America and on October 17 in Europe. It’ll be out for the PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4—every platform short of the Wii U.
