Paris in Assassin's Creed Unity will be big, as big as all of the island landmasses in Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag combined big. Notre Dame has been created on a 1:1 scale in the game and the cathedral and streets of the city will be tough to navigate; thankfully, Arno Dorian, our hero, is as good as any of the Assassins in past game or perhaps even better, as he's figured out how to parkour down buildings.
Each neighbourhood in the game is said to have a more distinct flavour than in past game and one in four buildings will feature full interiors – a huge increase on past game.
The ACVideos YouTube channel has posted a new trailer for Unity showing off Arno urban navigation skills in action.
The song in the trailer, if you're wondering, is Tobu's Mesmerize.
On Monday of this week, Ubisoft released two trailers to mark Bastille Day which occured 225 years ago and plays a kew role in the game. The first trailer revealed segements of gameplay while the second video hinted at the influence of the Templars in shaping the Revolution and its aftermath.
Assassin's Creed Unity is set for release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on October 28th.
