Ubisoft has released an 'E3 Awards' trailer for Rainbow Six Siege which was announced at last month's show.
The co-op multiplayer focused shooter features gangs of hostage-taking criminals with the technology to turn their environments into fortresses while Rainbow Six teams attempt to inflitrate and rescue the victims.
Rainbow Six may have a beta before launch, producer Sebastien Labbe told Total Xbox in June. Labbe commented:
"We're no different from the other online shooters. We want to be online – we're providing a strong PVP game, and if we want that we need to create a community. So if we wait until the launch, I expect it will be too late."
The game's co-op focus seems to be all the rage at Ubisoft these days, with Assassin's Creed Unity, Far Cry 4, and The Division all being designed to encourage people to play together.
Rainbow Six Siege is set for release in 2015 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One and replaces Rainbow Six: Patriots which was cancelled for being "old-gen".
