Did you know that camouflage patterns have names and even companies that produce them? Well, now you do. One of the companies producing these patterns, Kryptek, has posted a new image on its official website to state that its patterns will be featured on the guns in the upcoming Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
According to the company’s mission statement, Kryptek is a provider of high performance technical and tactical outdoor adventure apparel, such as the stuff you might find on paintball players and outdoorsmen.
The company has a full list of camouflage patterns up on its website, which you can see here and in the image below for a small selection of what they have to offer. Many of their patterns appear to be inspired by reptilian skin.
Their list of patterns include names like Mandrake, Raid, Highlander, Altitude, Nomad, Banshee, Typhon, Neptune, Yeti, and Pontus, so you’ll want to keep your eyes out for these patterns when Advanced Warfare comes out. At this point, it’s unclear which of them will be showing up in the game, so it’s something we’ll just have to wait for and see.
