The Elder Scrolls Online developer Zenimax Online Studios has published Update 2 of the game, which adds the new Veteran version of the Crypt of Hearts dungeon, new lootables, improved interior lighting, and more.
In the update, which has just gone live on the servers, players will be able to return to the Crypt of Hearts in the new veteran version, where they’ll face devious new bosses as they delve further into the Crypt and uncover its mysteries. There is of course a ton of loot to go along with the harder, deadlier dungeon.
ZOS has also made it so you’ll now be able to find loot from all the weapon and armor racks you find scattered throughout the world of Tamriel. They’ve also put together a new interior lighting effect that you’ll be able to fully appreciate whenever you’re inside of a building—windows will cast their light across the room. It’s a small, but pretty convincing effect.
In addition to all of that is a new FOV slider that allows you to change the game’s field of view while playing in first-person mode. It ranges from 70 to 130. You’ll be able to alter the settings under Settings > Camera, in the First Person section.
Here are the rest of the patch notes. Be sure to grab something to drink—it makes for some lengthy reading.
The game's previous major update added the adventure zone of Craglorn.
