We have a fun and awesome little Kickstarter for you, that we’re sure many of you will want to get your grubby little paws on. Introducing Catlateral Damage.
The brainchild of one Chris Chung, Catlateral Damage has you playing as a cat in 1st person, with the objective of throwing all your owner’s stuff on the ground. It’s simple, it’s adorable, and hey, check out this demo. It’s kind of really addictive.
Chung explains progress on the game is actually going quite well. Why did he go to Kickstarter? Actually, he had been working on the game for quite some time now, and was working as a video game tester full time. When he lost that job, it allowed him to work on this game full time, and now he can bring that dream to fruition.
Chung chose to sign up with Ouya’s #FreeThegameFunds program, so every amount raised here will be matched by Ouya. Of course, this also indicates a limited time exclusivity deal, so don’t expect any console announcements soon. Of course, the game will be coming to PC, via Windows, Mac and Linux.
Chung also partnered with Fire Hose Games under their Indie Accelerator Program, so it seems he has everything planned out well enough. We really can’t wait to see this game come out, and hopefully, on the consoles as well. You can help fund Catlateral Damage here and check out the Kickstarter pitch below.
