We have some fresh info regarding the multiplayer Exos and gadgets for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
This information comes straight from the man, Sledgehammer co-founder Michael Condrey, via a private interview.
First off, he reaffirms that Exos will be available in multiplayer. Sledgehammer spent the time and effort to design them and build the game around them. However, he still isn’t quite ready to divulge how the suits will be used in the game. I guess this means the suits could have limits to their use in multiplayer?
Regarding movement, they wanted Advanced Warfare to feel familiar enough to veteran players, but they also wanted to make it a fast paced game.
Condrey also explained that they are not quite ready to reveal what gadgets will be available in multiplayer, presumably because they’re still at work on it. He does affirm they’re taking their time getting it done right.
Condrey did confirm they are not making any OP equipment, Exos, or any form of enhancement for the multiplayer. Their dev team includes former eSports players, consulting with them for the purpose of balancing gameplay. They want to make sure multiplayer is balanced and ready to play before the game’s launch.
In the end, Condrey confirms that they take community feedback very seriously. Considering the circumstances behind this video, you know it isn’t just something they say in public.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is coming November 4 to Windows, Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One, and PS4.
