Bayonetta 2 is Platinum Games' Wii U exclusive but to compensate for the fact that the original game has been released on a Nintendo platform, a port will be provided for free with every copy and director Yusuke Hashimoto has revealed they've been working on it for around 18 months now.
Speaking to USGamer, Hashimoto also confirmed that there will be no DLC for the sequel and everything, including Bayonetta's special Nintendo themed costumes, will be available on-disc.
Development of the port was handled by Bee Tribe with "every aspect of its development" being overseen by Kamiya who also insisted on the new costumes.
On that front, Hashimoto had this to say, "That was something that Mr. Kamiya wanted. He drove us a little crazy with his demands."
Bayonetta can dress as Link, Princess Peach, and Samus. Bayonetta 2 is releasing on Wii U this October.
