Borderlands 2 on Vita has been souped up since its initial reveal. Sony has released a new trailer for it in anticipation of the Vita release, as part of the Vita Slim Bundle, this May 6, and on digital this May 13.
SCEA have worked hard with Iron Galaxy Studios and Gearbox Software to get the game up to expectations, and they have pledged to get the balance in preserving gameplay and an accurate conversion just right.
They have also incorporated cross save, so that people who already own the game on PS3 can switch between the Vita and the PS3 freely.
The Vita version will also have six add-on packs along with it. These are the Ultimate Vault Hunter’s Upgrade Pack, the Collector’s Edition pack, the Psycho and Mechromancer Character Classes, Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty, and Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage. To a degree, this is the definitive version of the game.
Now, we understand that many fans have had reservations watching the early build, but like SCE explained, they have worked on improvements in performance and presentation. You don’t have to take my or their word for it; check out the new trailer below.
