This is a guide to tweak Titanfall on PC, for Nvidia and AMD graphics cards.
First off, this mouse fix will improve accuracy for FPS games in general, including Titanfall.
A fan has made this custom Nvidia SLI (Scalable Link Interface) Profile. You load it into Nvidia Inspector and apply changes. It will also allow G-Sync to run, although it does not work for everyone.
Speaking of Nvidia Inspector, you can download that here. Here’s an Inspector specific tweak to help improve performance with it:
Run Inspector.
Click the wrench icon to the right of Driver Version.
Go to profiles, click in the text area and type Titanfall.
Scroll through the options to find Frame Rate Limiter.
Set your frames per second rate a little bit higher than your refresh rate.
From the Nvidia Control Panel, you can toggle force Vsync on and off. Off will make it run double buffered, while on will disable Vsync in-game.
Having stuttering issues? Try this tweak, again with Nvidia Control Panel:
In Titanfall, turn the option for Vsync on.
Go to Nvidia Control Panel.
Go to Manage 3D Settings.
Click Program Settings.
Choose Titanfall from the drop-down menu.
Scroll through the options to Vertical Sync.
Set to Adaptive and apply.
These tweaks will allow you to make changes to Titanfall from Origin, as fits the situation:
Go to My Games.
Right-click the Titanfall icon.
Click Game Properties.
Now, you can choose to use these cmds:
-novid
Skips introduction videos.
-noborder
Removes the border around Titanfall while it runs in Windowed mode.
-windowed
Runs the game in Windowed Mode
+cl_showfps 1 or 2
Displays the game fps stats. 1 places it on the top right, and 2, on the top left.
This tweak is done in Titanfall itself, and increases framerate:
Set texture resolution to High or very High. If you happen to have a low end card, choose a lower resolution instead.
Turn Shadows off.
Set Anisotropic to 8x.
Use 4x or 8x MSAA.
