Pirate based RPG Risen 3: Titan Lords has been revealed on the cover of the upcoming German magazine PC Games while screenshots of the title have appeared on AGB ahead of the magazine's retail release on February 26th.
Piranha Bytes' game follows on from 2012's Risen 2: Dark Waters but does not currently have a release date or announced launch platforms though we can safely assume that Titan Lords is coming to PC. Dark Waters was released on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 while the original game did not make it to Sony's console.
PC Games, through Google translate, says of Risen 3:
"Well, then there's there's Piranha Bytes, the creators of Gothic and Risen. They live and develop in the Ruhr region, more precisely in Essen. In a normal house with garden – like fresh out of the home loan advertising. From the outside, no one would ever think that behind these walls creates a dark fantasy role-playing game of epic proportions [was in development]. Our editor, Peter Bathge, is the first to see the new Piranha game, Risen 3: Titan Lords. In the new PC Games you'll see the first screenshots and learn through a world exclusive that compared to Risen 2, everything's changed."
