We have a new trailer for you for Capcom’s upcoming free to play MMO, Deep Down.
The trailer hints at a person talking to who we now know is the single playable character of the game. This unseen voice exhorts the character to tell everyone he knows what happened.
It then transitions into familiar territory, showing off Deep Down’s bevy of freakish monsters, including… a monstrous treasure chest?
Of course I’m not kidding about the treasure chest. Check out this screenshot.
So it seems the game is not going to be shy about throwing a lot of curveballs our way, realistic art style or not. The trailer simply ends with Capcom Japan congratulating Sony on their Japanese Playstation 4 launch. Of course, the game was supposed to arrive with the Playstation 4 tomorrow, but I’m sure gamers would agree it would be better for Capcom and SCE to delay until the game is in a state to meet expectations. We'll let you know when a release date – and, we certainly hope, an open beta – is coming. Check out the full trailer below.
