DICE has updated fans once again with their latest zero-downtime update for Battlefield 4.
The Battlelog plugin is now going to be set up in such a way that future updates will be applied towards it automatically. Subsequently, Live Scoreboard will be added to Battlelog within this week.
In terms of additions, Battlelog now has a Facebook friend finder, you will be able to remove friends from their profile page, and zoom sensitivity has been adjusted in Geo Leaderboards. Improvements have also been applied in terms of handling game queues on PC, as well as a new antispam mechanic, which limits you to one post every 30 seconds in the forums.
Finally, this latest update handled a myriad of smaller issues and redundancies. Players can’t report or block themselves in Battle Reports anymore. Assignment requirement and criteria completion will now appear properly if you use the in-game Battlelog on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You no longer get linked to the store from the BF4 section if you already own a copy. Smaller fixes involved displaying incorrect information, corrections to Leaderboards, Live Scoreboard, Tablet Commander, and Facebook integration.
The last Battlelog update was three weeks ago, so it seems like DICE was able to squeeze in a lot of work in between. No, this isn’t the big update to fix everything still, but every small step counts, at least for those fans still playing the game. If you are one of those players, let us know if you’ve felt these changes in your experience, and to what degree the game is playable for you, in the comments below.
