Over on Reddit fans of the Kingdom Hearts series have revealed the fights they want to see in the third game.
Some of the popular confrontations players want would see series protagonist Sora take on Vanitas, who was created from the extracted darkness of Ventus's heart. As noted, it would likely be an interesting fight if only because they have the same voice actor.
"Sora vs. Vanitas would be interesting. 3D seems to be teasing at a return for him, and the fact both share the same voice actor as well would make the interactions between them amusing, to say the least."
That's certainly one of the more popular combinations mentioned.
"I want to see Riku vs. Terranort, and possibly Sora vs. Vanitas. Why?
"Taking on the dark counterparts of their predecessors could be interesting. And if there were a surprise interruption from the Lingering Sentiment when fighting Terranort, or a surprise intervention from Ventus when dueling Vanitas, that'd be cool.
"Particularly so if Ventus ends up inheriting all of Sora and Roxas's memories from his time spent sleeping, as well as his own like I've thought he will for a while. Or if Riku, being Keyblade Master now, inherits some Keyblade armor similar to Terra's."
As 358/2 days players will know, Roxas was determined to fight Xemnas before Riku interrupted and it certainly make for a good fight should the two of them be given the chance to go head-to-head.
"If Roxas comes back, I would LOVE to see Roxas VS Xemnas. mainly because of how hellbent he was on fighting him at the end of 358/2 days untill Riku interrupted."
Another exciting possibility would be the Seven Lights, the keyholders destined to create the X-Blade, against the 13 Darkness.
"Definitely looking forward for the fight between the Seven Lights and 13 Darknesses. I would be even happier if you could actually control some of them instead of just Sora, or at least have Keyblade warriors in your party."
Over here we have a list of the bosses fans want to featured in the game, what are you hoping for? Kingdom Hearts 3 was announced during Sony's E3 press conference last year. Producer Tetsuya Nomura has said that fans should expect the classic Disney characters rather than LucasFilm or Marvel creations due to licensing but added that "we're gonna prepare some surprises for you" in terms of the character roster in the game.
