You woke up, giddy with excitement to open the mound of wrapped joy under that recently decorated Christmas tree. First gift? Underwear. Second gift? More damn underwear. At that point, you wanted to give up. You wanted to just call it a Christmas and make a tall underwear tower in honor of the spoiled holidays. But, you pushed on, and in that third box was that PlayStation 4 that you’ve been pining for since Jack Tretton first threw down the gauntlet at E3.
Thankfully, Sony is giving both new and old PS4 owners something fun to play during this holiday weekend. All Plus members will be able to indulge in the Killzone: Shadow Fall multiplayer experience from Dec. 28 to Dec 31. Those who plan on taking advantage of this free weekend can start pre-loading the game right now, which will include both the single and multiplayer portions of the game. Of course, you’ll just have access to the competitive side of the game this weekend, but if you do decided to buy the game, you’ll already have the full thing downloaded and ready to go.
It’s a quality shooter with an expansive online experience, so look to unwrap Sony’s gift in the coming days.
