This is a guide for the K7 in Call of Duty Ghosts.
The K7 is a South Korean SMG with a permanently attached suppressor. It has a very low damage output, requiring three shots to kill whether you use headshots or not. Worse, at longer ranges, it takes seven shots to kill, five if one of them is a headshot. Low penetration also conspires to work against it. At least it retains that three shot kill damage as far as medium range.
Hipfire is good, and at 895 RPM, the rate of fire does compensate for low damage, making it a lethal weapon up close. Recoil is moderate, again working with low damage output to make it terrible at long ranges. The K7 does have quick aim time at 200 ms and retains full mobility while moving. Magazine capacity is adequate at 32 rounds, 48 rounds on extended magazines. It has quick reloads for an SMG at 2.5 seconds, so you shouldn’t hesitate at unloading your gun with this one.
The K7 is a stealth gun, so you will want to get the appropriate Perks and attachments. Foregrip will lower recoil, so that you can have a more accurate gun, if not a long range weapon. Extended magazines is also a great choice, quick reload time aside.
Choose only genuine stealth Perks. Off The Grid will help you get over the SATCOM strategy we outlined just today as well as Incog. Dead Silence will also keep your footsteps silent so they’ll never notice you coming near. You may also choose to invest in mobility enhancing Perks, such as Marathon.
The K7 is terrible as a ranged weapon and powerful as a close up mobile stealth weapon. Lacking versatility, it is nonetheless one of the best guns at its specialization.
