Call of Duty Ghosts SATCOM / UAV Guide

December 17, 2013 by Ryan Parreno

Be the guy who keep air support up for the team constantly. It’s not that hard, really, read on to find out how.

This is a guide on how to use SATCOMs as your sole killstreak in Call of Duty Ghosts. This ensures you always have air support ready for your teammates and there are two ways to to go about it.

One SATCOM gives us one Eyes On. What this means is every SATCOM that’s added to the field allows you to monitor any enemy soldier that any one of your teammates, see as long as they never leave your teammates vision. Two SATCOMs gives you a UAV. The SATCOMs can scan the battleground to seek out your enemies. With three SATCOMS, the UAV does enemy sweeps more frequently. Finally, four SATCOMs gives you the best case scenario: Advanced UAV. This UAV lets you see which direction your enemies are facing in at all times.

You will be using Assault or Support killstreaks with your SATCOM killstreak, along with Hardline. Disable all other killstreaks. This way, as soon as you earn a SATCOM, you reset your killstreak quickly, making it easier and faster to accrue each SATCOM.

The advantage of using Support is your killstreaks will stay with you through death. That way, you don’t have to worry about dying and earning the killstreak is much easier. Every three kills, you earn a UAV. If you can handle a little more challenge, you may prefer Assault. You will be able to accrue SATCOMs faster if you are up for it, since you will only need two kills to earn one SATCOM.

There is no single class that best uses SATCOMs, but if you want to know what our source uses, watch his video below.
