Infinite Crisis Profiles Robin as Newest Support Champion

December 16, 2013 by Andrea Castellano

Infinite Crisis introduces sidekick Robin.

As the Infinite Crisis closed beta continues, Turbine brings in Batman's sidekick, Robin, to help reach the opposing team's base.

Tim Drake takes the role as Robin in Infinite Crisis to fill the spot as melee support. Robin's passive, 'This Guy,' tries to keep the enemy visible at all times by putting a track on enemy targets. When allies attack a marked target, they deal bonus damage and restore Will or Energy.

He again provides support through his Dynamic Duo ability. Dynamic Duo turns Robin into a valuable sidekick as he buffs one ally target with movement speed, damage and lifesteal.

Robin can also deal some damage with the Vault Kick ability. It knocks back and deals damage to the target enemy and applies the This Guy passive marking. The Bo Master ability reflects attack damage and also slows the target's movement speed. Players can follow up with a Vault Kick, but cannot apply the This Guy passive.

Robin's ultimate ability ditches his sidekick status to become an Emergent Leader. When activated he deals damage, knocks back targets and buffs nearby allies.

For tips-and-tricks to guarantee the best competitive Robin play, players can watch the video below. Turbine is still accepting closed beta participation so sign up on the official website for a chance to enter.
