The Clan of The Gray Wolf, comprised of YouTube personalities the Commodore and Roo, are launching their 5th Annual CotGW Charity Marathon. From now until December 16 midnight, they will be playing Super NES games for the next 60 hours in support of the Toys for Tots Foundation.
The boys are looking to raise $ 20,000 for Toys for Tots, who have been working to help collect and distribute toys to the less fortunate since 1947. CotGW will also be giving out perks for donations that will be made within this time, including getting to choose what game they will play next.
All donations enter the benefactor into a daily draw where they can win video game art, $ 20 in point cards (winner gets to choose Nintendo/Xbox/PSN), etc.
$ 25 will add you to another draw for a grand raffle, where the prize is a 2013 game.
$ 50 will get you a CotGW MicroSD to SD card converter (admittedly this one’s not so hot).
$ 75 is the tier where you get to choose any Super Nintendo game to play. You should also indicate what time they will play it (so that you can catch it, of course) and they have pledged to get a copy of whatever game is requested but they don’t personally own.
At $ 100, you can set a time based challenge, and if they beat the challenge, you win a Steam game of your own choosing.
At $ 150, Roo is giving away a Super Nintendo game from his personal collection. Roo hints that it might be CIB, and even possibly, rare.
Lastly, if donations get up to $ 10,000 they’ll share embarrassing high school videos and a 3 minute preview of the next episode of Roo’s show, 16-Bit Gems.
The best of luck to Roo and the Commodore and you can catch the stream below, as well as at the official CotGW site (chatbox will be there) or on RetrowareTV.
