There’s always a rumor floating around the gaming community and today’s is centered around the marsupial mascot of PlayStation — Crash Bandicoot.
The rumor suggests that the a new Crash Bandicoot game is in the works and it will be revealed sometime this year. If this is to be true, the announcement should be coming at the Game Awards 2019, however, take everything you read here with a grain of salt.
So apparently the new Crash Bandicoot game is titled Crash Bandicoot Worlds and it will borrow elements from the Nintendo exclusive — Mario Odyssey. That means players will be playing as Crash as he enters new worlds in a 3D space. Let’s breakdown the evidence one by one.
The first hint is from the “It’s Time to Play” PlayStation trailer. The moment you want to check out in specific is at the 00: 11 seconds mark, check it out down below:
Now lets move on to evidence number 2. This is a poster from a bus stop in the UK, which twitter user jumpbuttoncb spotted. What the internet is pegging this as is a new redesign of the iconic video game mascot, which suggest PlayStation’s gearing up for a new game for the character.

Evidence 3. A developer from the N.Sane Trilogy and Nitro Fueld, seems to be adding fuel on Twitter. Check out what a developer from Toys for Bob had to say about the Time to Play Trailer down below:
Evidence 4. Which seems to be the most compelling. It suggest that a 4chan user, who leaked both the N. Sane Trilgoy and Nitro Fueled Crash remakes, is stating that the game is official and is set to release in 2020. Whenever the a reputable leaker leaks stuff onto the internet, usually the internet pays attention as there reputation is on the line.
