Halo Infinite was one of the more hyped up video game titles coming into Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference and while we did get a bit of a trailer, we received nothing in terms of gameplay. Now that we’re all recovering from the number of conferences, interviews and news pieces from the big conference, the development studio is already confirming to gamers around the world that when E3 2020 comes around, we can prepare for plenty of Halo action. We got a years worth of waiting to get through first but at the very least we know at least one title will be present for an E3 press conference next year and that Microsoft is likely holding a press conference in general for E3 2020.
As mentioned, Halo Infinite was present during E3 2019 but it wasn’t the gameplay footage gamers had hoped for. Instead, we got a small trailer showcasing Master Chief going into battle without the AI companion he had sought out in Halo 5: Guardians. Furthermore, the narrative component to Halo Infinite wasn’t very fleshed out so we’re still waiting on some questions to be answered.
While 343 Industries didn’t’ give out any more details about the game, they did confirm that E3 2020 will be a big moment for the video game. Furthermore, it does look like there will be some type of early access to the title when it gets closer to its launch date.
In the blog post, it was mentioned that the developers are planning on an early flighting program that will allow gamers to enjoy the game early and help with the feedback the studio needs before it fully launches. At any rate, we know that Halo Infinite will be available for Xbox One, Project Scarlett and the PC platform in 2020.
