BioWare is a well-known video game development studio that has been around for years. It’s a studio that’s brought out countless RPG classics such as Dragon Age and Mass Effect so naturally, there was plenty of hype being built around Anthem. This was a brand new IP that was teased over the past couple years and being developed under an iconic development studio known for delivering an in-depth narrative story, most gamers likely felt Anthem was going to be a safe bet. If you’ve been following the game since its release then you know that has been anything but a warmly welcomed title.
There were several problems with the game and even reports behind the development cycle put into the title. However, one of the elements that gamers who decided to stick with the title have been experiencing is a rather poorly established loot system. This is a game as a service title which means that the developers are planning for gamers to enjoy Anthem for a long time to come. Unfortunately, for gamers who are looking to settle in and enjoy the game, gathering some of the loot can be quite the challenge. Fortunately, BioWare has noticed this and decided to go a bit beyond their fix. Instead of working on the system with their already established team, a new posting for BioWare has listed out a need for a developer to come on board and help fix their loot system.
This loot system will hopefully fix some of the issues with various drops and make it a bit easier for those who wish to grind away for certain items painless. For now, it looks like we have to wait for a fix on that front as the listing is still up at the time of writing this post. With that said, are you still playing Anthem?
