Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines released in 2004 as an action RPG. Within the game, players follow a vampire character in the early 21st century in Los Angeles. Early into the game, we are tossed into a journey in which our character uncovers the truth behind a relic that points to the end of all vampires. This title didn’t release to be a massive hit and it was filled with different bugs. However, as time progressed the following grew for the title and it became a cult hit.
Now after a decade has passed, fans who enjoyed the title can rejoice over the announcement of its sequel. Through teases and an interactive unveiling, Paradox Interactive brought out the Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 announcement. This sequel will be developed by Hardsuit Labs and will follow a journey based in Seattle, Washington.
Again, much like the first installment, players will be taking on the role of a vampire but in a city that is filled with different factions. Unfortunately, not too many details were released and we won’t actually get our hands on a copy this year. Instead, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be launching next year, 2020. Now the question is for fans of the first installment. What are you hoping to see return or added into the game after waiting over a decade for a proper sequel?
