Most NBA 2K fans look forward to both the sweeping changes in the game from year to year and the sudden nuances. The significant alterations to each team’s roster, which the developers have taken note of, will be some of the most interesting aspects to observe when 2K14 hits both current and next-generation consoles this fall. However, a recent video has been released by the studio that might be more exciting than a Blake Griffin dunk or a Metta World Peace elbow. Due to popular demand, Kent Bazemore’s animated celebrations, also known as “Bazemoring,” will make an appearance in the final product.
If you’re unfamiliar with this young Golden State Warriors’ antics, Bazemore is likely best known for his lively, comedic moves after his team makes big plays. Maybe that’s not as impressive a reputation as his teammate Stephen Curry, who can seemingly sink a long three-point shot from any distance or angle, but I bet Bazemore doesn’t mind getting all that attention from the fans.
The above video shows just a bit of the motion capture technology at work. If you’re excited about the music that will be featured in NBA 2K14, too, don’t forget that cover athlete LeBron James is still looking for suggestions to give to the developer before the game ships.
