Finish up your playthrough of The Walking Dead: The Final Season – Episode 1 with our complete achievements / trophies guide, explaining how to complete every challenge in the first part of Telltale’s final foray into The Walking Dead. To 100% the first episode, you’ll need to play the game at least twice — once to visit the Fishing Cabin, and again to visit the Hunting Shack. Like other Telltale adventures, there’s a branching choice early in the adventure that changes what you’ll be doing for a full act.
The Walking Dead: The Final Season promises to be the last entry in Telltale’s incredibly successful zombie adventure series. In this ending season, you join Clementine with her new ward AJ — a very young boy that Clem is looking after. Before long, Clem and AJ hole up in a not-so-abandoned school, and instead of running away, they stay and protect their new home with a large cast of characters. If you want to unlock all the achievements / trophies, you’ll need to get to know these characters better and experience both branching path options. 100% Achievements / Trophies Guide | Episode 1
To unlock all the achievements / trophies in The Walking Dead: The Final Season – Episode 1, follow the steps below.
- Scavenger:
- Find all the collectibles in Episode 1. To find them all check out our Episode 1 collectibles guide right here.
- To Make It Look Nice:
- After getting all the collectibles, place them in your room in the school. This can be done near the end of the Episode.
- End of the Road:
- Complete Act 1. Can’t be missed.
- Fitting In:
- Complete Act 2. Can’t be missed.
- Protector:
- Complete Act 3. Can’t be missed.
- Tickle Monster:
- Act 1: When you find AJ and Louis while searching for the source of the piano, you’ll get an option to tickle AJ. Do it to unlock the achievement / trophy.
- Nothing Wasted:
- Act 1: Louis will show you how to kill walkers outside the school walls. Instead of using your knife, only use the traps. There are four different traps you’ll need to use.
- Social Butterfly:
- Act 1: Later, you’ll be able to explore the courtyard and talk to people. Talk to everyone to get AJ to apologize — you’ll need to talk to (1) Ruby, (2) Aasim, (3) Louis & Omar, (4) Tennessee & Violet, (5) Mitch & Willy.
- Lost Love:
- Act 2: Fishing Cabin – Select to go to the fishing cabin to unlock this achievement / trophy. When you’re inside the cabin, talk to AJ about the artwork.
- Upstream:
- Act 2: Fishing Cabin – While you’re fishing with Violet and Brody, you need to spear all three fish in a row. Don’t miss once.
- Where’s the Candy?:
- Act 2: Hunting Shack – Instead of fishing, the following two achievements / trophies can only be unlocked if you select the hunting branch. Talk to Louis and you’ll be able to aim at trapped walker. Hit all three times in a row.
- Rabbit Season:
- Act 2: Hunting Shack – Speak with Aasim, and you’ll hunt rabbits. Hit two adults rabbits to unlock this.
- Good Girl:
- Act 2: When Rosie the Dog scares Clem and AJ, you’ll be told that the dog is okay if you trust Rosie. Choose to trust the pup.
