2018 has proved to be a fantastic year for gaming. We’ve already seen a plethora of incredible video game titles launch into the market and we’re just halfway through the year. However, that doesn’t mean we’re going to see a dwindle in video game releases anytime soon.

Without further ado, here are the thirty amazing new video game titles launching this year.
#30 Skull & Bones
- Developer: Ubisoft Singapore
- Publisher: Ubisoft
- Platforms: PC, PS4, XBO
- Release: 2018
Ubisoft is looking to release their upcoming naval warfare video game towards the end of the 2018 year. The title is known as Skull & Bones which will involve piracy and battling other crews in the open seas. Skull & Bones is not slated to launch for quite some time and as such there’s not too much information to go off from quite yet.
What we do know is that the game will be open world where players take the role of a pirate captain as they go through the campaign collecting loot while managing their ship and crew. If you enjoyed Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag for its open seas piracy then this may be a title worth keeping an eye on.
#29 Star Citizen
- Developer: Cloud Imperium Games
- Publisher: Cloud Imperium Games
- Platforms: PC
- Release: 2018
Star Citizen has been unveiled and funded through crowdfunding years ago with a planned release in 2014. This is a MMO title where players will explore the universe, conduct space trading, gather resources, and lastly, face against each other in combat. However, Star Citizen was hit with several delays and postponements. While we’re hoping the game makes its official debut this year, we could likely see another delay pushing the game back once again.
