Treyarch has just released a new title update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, which has just gone live on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game.
In addition to a host of bug fixes and balance changes, the biggest alternation in the patch is a major nerf to the game's Machine Pistols. Damage for the B23R and the KAP-40 have been reduced all across the board. Just as well, the dual-wielded B23R has had its damage reduced and a severe reduction to hip fire accuracy, so players won't be able to accurately spam the weapon as much as they have been prior to the patch's release.
Another major change is an increase to movement while equipping the FHJ-18. Previously, players complained of being sitting ducks with the weapon, so that should no longer be a problem.
Notably, the patch adds support for the free trial of the Revolution DLC over the next four days. If you've yet to purchase the pack, you'll be able to try it out over the weekend. You can also refer to the previous patch notes which was made available late last month.
