Infinity Ward developers have spoken to Official PlayStation Magazine UK and revealed new information about Call of Duty: Ghosts following the announcement yesterday of the title for PS4 and Xbox One.
The developers could only reveal a few details about multiplayer however each map is interactive and one map has a satellite which crashes, if you pick it up it's hinted that you'll get a UAV. There will be extensive customisation options to outfit your character as a reflection of your personality and plenty of skins from single player have been incorporated into Ghosts' multiplayer.
Meanwhile, the story is not a continuation of either Mordern Warfare or Black Ops but rather represents a new "story-arc". The game will be set in the US in the near future and America has been attacked with numerous large-scale battles having taken place. It's unclear who the aggressor is in this situation.
No one know where the 'Ghosts Team' came from or who they are however they represent salvation and hope. The story revolves around two brothers who grew up in this war-ravaged America and the narrative begins from their first meeting with the Ghosts. There is no relation between the Ghosts and 'Ghost' from Modern Warfare although it seems unlikely that there won't be some nod at least to the character.
